ARTUS 8

The ARTUS 8 is a high performance desktop CCD spectrometer with the largest optical system that ARUN has to offer, ensuring complete spectral coverage at best resolution and light efficiency. This makes the ARTUS 8 the perfect choice for more demanding and heavy-duty applications.

The ARTUS 8 has been developed as a non-compromising instrument. It  offers all the advantages of a flexible and versatile CCD spectrometer. It even competes in some applications with classical photomultiplier systems, which are still the benchmark in high-end OES.

While the ARTUS 8 is strongly recommended for all metal producing and processing industries, it also covers the demanding needs in corporate research and academia. Its versatility and flexibility combined with low detection limits makes it perfect for contract laboratories.

ARTUS 8 is available in two different versions

As a result of our non-compromise approach, every ARTUS 8 is equipped to fully cover a large spectrum! The “Ultimate” edition offers for very specific needs an extension into the ultra-UV range to enable the analysis of certain gases in metals. It also maximises our “Made to Measure” concept and provides further enhanced calibration programme.

The ARTUS 8 has an internal network and is controlled by a personal computer via ethernet connection.
A second ethernet slot in the PC allows to link-up the system to the company network.

Central Argon inlet to supply spark chamber with inert gas.
Logical gas controlling reduces the specific Argon consumption substantially ensuring low operational cost.

Power inlet allows the use of localised power cord. ARTUS 8 supports 110-230V.

Press the power button to switch the instrument on.
The second button is used to activate or de-activate the spark generator (source).
This allows to safely perform maintenance work on spark stand and electrode.
